On Friday, February 5, more than 150 students at Hurley Elementary received free dental check-ups at the “Give Kids a Smile” event. Sponsored by the Chinese American Dental Society of Southern California, dentist Dr. Laura Lee, DDS, along with senior dental students from Western University of Health Sciences were on hand to provide free dental screenings to students in grades TK - 3. Students also received a toothbrushes and toothpaste!
